Pastoral Theology

Training pastors for the ministry is at the very core of what we do at Victory Baptist College. We have been developing men of God over the past 4o years and count it a privilege to be continuing to do so.

Noteworthy Courses

God has chosen the “foolishness of preaching” to instill the gospel into the hearts of man. We equip men of God to rightly divide the Word of Truth. Men of God who have been called to preach have the opportunity to be coached by effective pastors and church leaders in this area.

In this course, we emphasize the importance on using God’s Word for the roadmap to life as opposed to the wisdom of men. We educate our students on crucial attributes of a counselor and the role they play within someone’s life.

Bible Doctrine is extremely crucial as it sets the parameters for what we believe. Since the Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice, we go in-depth with our students to give them a solid foundation in God’s Word.

Biblical Counseling

Now more than ever we see that the world is without hope. Through God’s Word we have the solutions to people’s struggles. We empower our Biblical Counseling majors to help those in need.

By looking at the life of Christ, we are able to see a model of servant leadership. As future church leaders, it is crucial that our students understand the meaning of a true Christian role model.

The culture around us is constantly shifting. We dive into the unique situations people in our culture are faced with and how we can provide biblical insight and direction into these subjects.

Life is full of difficulties and disappointments. Without the light of Christ, those around us will lose their way. We coach our students on recognizing these situations and how to empathize with those who are hurting.

Youth Ministry

We must reach the next generation for Christ. Teenagers are in some of the most formative years of their lives. We aim to equip our students to be godly role models and effective leaders in Student Ministries.

Serving in the role of Youth Pastor carries much responsibility. We train our students in effective communication strategies with teenagers as well as how to practically and effectively run a Youth Ministry.

Church Administration

As churches grow and begin to minister in multiple areas, the increasing need for organization structure makes itself apparent. We help churches become organized to function.

By looking at the life of Christ, we are able to see a model of servant leadership. As future church leaders, it is crucial that our students understand the meaning of a true Christian role model.

How is a Baptist Church organized to function? We cover topics such as pastoral roles, deacons, trustees, and other common roles within the church.

We must be good stewards of God’s money. Learn to balance budgets, organize building programs, and file for tax exempt status in this hands on course.

Church Media

Through our Media and Design Program, we train God’s servants to become better communicators. We foster a creative environment where our students can flourish in the gifts and abilities God has given them.

As technology advances the church is given a greater opportunity to use these tools for the Lord’s Kingdom. Our objective is to stay true to who we are as believers, while using technology the reinforce and extend the reach of our weekly church services.

Effective communications are the lifeblood of any church or organization. We equip our students to be effective communicators through a variety of mediums.

It is crucial that churches put their best foot forward on print and digital materials. We teach that our graphic design is a reflection of the creativity that God has instilled in us. 

Music Ministry

Music is a crucial part of any ministry. We educate our music students by developing the gifts God has given them while equipping them to lead others to do the same.

Take advantage of one on one music training with our proficient musicians in a variety of areas. We offer private lessons for vocal, piano, and guitar.

Learn how to be an effective music minister within the local church. We teach best practices in leading a music team and leading corporate worship through music.
